Despite the best efforts of the parties to a construction project, many high-profile construction disputes end up in arbitration. I am always honored to be entrusted with the task of serving as a neutral in situations where so much is at stake for so many. As an ADR professional in the construction arena for over 30 years, I hope to have gained a reputation as a fair and evaluative arbitrator and ADR professional. I continually strive to maintain that distinction. My focus is on effectively managing each proceeding, and applying the law and construction industry standards in evaluating each case on a confidential basis.
Today's large-scale construction projects are hugely complex affairs with tremendous capital investments, numerous skilled trades, cutting edge technologies and rigorous schedules. The larger and more complex the project, the more that is at stake when claims occur. Whether it is a sports stadium, an EPC project, a high rise building or a hospital, once claims arise, it is imperative to enlist an experienced ADR professional who understands the scope and nature of a major construction project as well as the legal and contractual intricacies that must be evaluated.
Rick Greenleaf focuses exclusively on providing ADR services to the construction industry.
Rick Greenleaf began his construction law practice as a trial lawyer, litigating large-scale commercial and energy construction cases on the Texas Gulf Coast. As an attorney, Rick represented owners, contractors, developers, sureties, subcontractors, homeowners associations, architects, engineers, suppliers, fabricators and specialty contractors.
